Adobe Beatdown

About this project

Every relationship between Adobe’s users and its software is one of hate and love. There are common infuriating situations anyone accustomed to Adobe’s product line has had to endure. Full scratch disks, unexpected crashes, and the constant wonder of why don’t they just merge Photoshop and Illustrator into one program.

For an amateur attempt of interactive computing, I worked with imaging, sound production, and back-end development. I created a desktop game where one could release his or her frustration on an Adobe product of their choosing. Using the ‘O’ key to select an opponent and the ‘W’ key to toggle weapons, the user could click on the program icon to punch or hit. All whilst enjoying the sounds of CKY and various punch and ouch sound effects.
