From a very young age, art and technology have been my passion, a significant part of my life, as well as a career aspiration. The explosion of digital design and new media in marketing has reinforced my lifelong desire to combine my love of both fields, and to pursue a line of work where I can grow professionally and ultimately achieve a position in Creative Direction.
A Little Bit About Me
Summary of Capabilities
I am proficient in a multitude of Adobe CC programs, 3D modeling, and several scripting languages for web development and user interactivity. My marketing courses and industry experience present me with insight to both the business and consumer aspects of the creative design field. My other interests include photography, illustration and animation.
My Creative Process
My process is a flux of found inspiration, making lists, doodling and daydreaming. I enjoy the discovery phase, where one understands the essence of a commodity or consumer, just as much as delivering the final visual, functional output. I keep myself in tune with literature, music, and art so that my creative muscles are constantly working.
Discovering the backbone of a brand, and the real-time desires and pain points of the consumer journey, adds an ongoing, cherished education to my work. Defining the research and connecting the dots to provide value or enhance a consumer journey is what drives me to tackle new projects each day.
From illustration to imaging, and from print to mobile; it’s always fun to tackle a new visual execution. I’ve designed everything from tattoos to mobile ads for tablet. Fostering a client’s vision to make it tangible, is a challenge I am always ready for.
Time-based media is the best way to convey an effective narrative. I’ve worked with simple animation executions, as well as produced some short animated films. Video production and editing is one of my oldest hobbies, whereas 3D modeling and animation is a newfound passion.
Crafting a user experience is something I am still mesmerized by. From front-end web development, to various programming languages, the resources and capabilities for creating apps, games, and web sites are endless. I’ve built many web pages, playful mobile applications, and engaging rich media advertisements.
Photography is a passion and hobby of mine, but I do work professionally for intimate events & engagement photos. While traveling, I always bring my Nikon DSLR and Minolta film camera along. They are two of my dearest friends.
